GET READY FOR RECRUITMENT!

We want to get to know you and give you the opportunity to learn if Consult Your Community is the right place for you! We want everyone to feel confident going through our recruitment process, so we're providing this detailed explanation of our recruitment process and some tips to help you prepare yourself.
What We're Looking For
As a consulting organization that works with a variety of clients, we truly value diversity in our JBA class. So, there's no one "perfect" candidate we're looking for. Rather than searching for a specific checklist of experiences or skills, we value candidates that have a strong desire to learn, believe in our mission of helping our community, and can think creatively to solve complex problems.
We seek candidates that are:

Intellectually Curious
students driven by a desire to learn new things

Community-Oriented
volunteers committed to making the world a better place

Hard-Working and Reliable
team players that are supportive of their peers

Analytical and Creative
problem-solvers motivated to find different solutions

Versatile and Adaptable
change-makers that can tackle any challenge
If you love thinking outside the box when you're presented with challenges and volunteering in your free time, then we are the perfect organization for you! We also love when applicants come in with the desire to develop their communication and analytical skills whether or not they are planning on working as a consultant in the future. Through our recruitment process, we will ask you questions to determine if we think that you would be a good fit for our team. We encourage you to do the same and ask us questions to learn about Consult Your Community's values align with your own. We also consider demonstrated interest in our selection process, so make sure to join our recruitment events.

For students that have previously recruited with us, we encourage you to apply again! We really value the determination returning applicants show, and we take into account their ability to improve with feedback from their last recruitment cycle.
